As you know, this last period revolves around the theme of Africa. One of the peculiarities of this continent remains the oral tradition, with its storytellers and village meetings at the foot of the Baobab. We wanted to bring a little of this Africa into our school, and failing to plant a babobab there we opted by inviting a storyteller! Griot from Senegal, one of the few African storytellers of traditional training, came to share his stories with us. Boubacar travels france and other countries with its rhythmic stories of songs, dances, music… The children were literally bewitched! He was able, through his reading, accompanied by songs and dances in which everyone participated, to make us travel and live an experience as if we were in his native village. Great success for this unforgettable activity!
