This year, at Kaleidoscope, on April 1st it was not April Fool’s day, but a Wild West day! We welcomed a team of American Discovery professionals who explained the conquest of America to the Primary students. The two cowboys explained the conquest of the West, and the life at the time: how the Cowboys worked in the ranches, the weapons they used (carbines, arrows, bows…), their outfits, animals they kept, and what they ate. They also talked about adventure, battles, riding… The icing on the cake was the presentation of a life sized bison head. This helped the children to imagine the life of these majestic animals, and the great spaces where they lived.
